It has a double walled construction. The outer body is made up of a thick sheet of mild steel which is duly powder coated and the inner chamber is made up of a sheet of 304 grade stainless steel.
The lid is also double walled, properly insulated and comes with locking facility.
The whole unit is mounted on as sturdy angle iron frame.
The cooling coils are brazed to the outer side of the stainless steel chamber, thus ensuring perfect and uniform cooling.
The insulation is achieved with PUFF (i.e. polyurethane foam), to prevent any heat loss.
For attaining temperatures below the ambient, refrigeration is done through a CFC-free hermetically sealed compressor.
For attaining temperatures above the ambient, heating is done with an immersion type heating element.
It is fitted with a stirrer for temperature uniformity throughout the chamber.
The temperature ranges from -10°C to 90°C and is controlled by a Dual Display Microprocessor PID Digital Temperature Indicator cum controller with an accuracy of + 0.5°C.
It is workable on 220/230 volts AC Supply.
The unit is also fitted with a FHP PUMP for circulating the cooled liquid to an external source such as condenser coils, etc.
Low Temperature Refrigerated Liquid Bath RSTI-142 Series
General specifications Same as RSTI-141, but temperature range is -10°C.
PUFF insulation in the chamber & can be used as a circulating water bath in external instruments.
