  • Our HEPA or the high-efficiency particulate absorbing filter has a filtration efficiency of 99.97%, for particles up to 0.3 micrometers (µm) in diameter.
  • The filter medium is fabricated from 100% fire proof micro fiberglass pleated with aluminum/cadmium plated mild steel with an exclusive plastic base adhesive.
  • Continuous neoprene sponge rubber seals are provided on the filter frame for effective sealing.
  • The filter has excellent resistance to chemicals including corrosive vapors and most acids except phosphoric acid and hydro solvents which have little or no effect.
  • It also has excellent electric qualities; it neither absorbs moisture nor undergoes any chemical changes through contact with moisture.
  • It can operate in temperatures up to 150°C intermittent and 121°C continuous and 100% relative humidity.
  • These filters are tested by the DOP test method, which is by far the most accurate and stringent test.

  • These filters have been specifically designed to meet the requirements of clean air in general ventilating and air-conditioning systems in Hospitals, Computer installations, and also in Nuclear, Pharmaceutical, Petro-Chemical, Fertilizers, Synthetic fiber industries and Compressor applications.
  • The heart of the filter is a reinforced washable synthetic non-woven filter media/fiber glass.
  • The fiber media is pleated in an accordion format along with a backing of wire/HDPE netting.
  • The mediums are carefully selected to offer the best possible performance to suit specific needs.
  • In order to obtain uniformity of dust loading, the filter plates are kept apart by means of aluminum separators.

  • The complete filter pack is sealed into a rigid cassette of mild steel or aluminum.
  • The filter is offered in a three piece construction namely the element cassette, the outer casing and the front grill.
  • For replacement, only the cassette element needs to be changed.
  • The Micronics fine filter has a filtration efficiency of up to 90.0%, with particle retention >5.0 micron and it can operate at a temperature of up to 120°C and 100% relative humidity.
  • Before use, the filters are tested in accordance with the specification of BS 2831 Standards.
