Profile projector with coaxial surface illumination are used, where the prime observation/ measurement requirement are of surface deep cavity etc.
Coaxial surface illumination – An illumination method whereby a work piece is illuminated by light transmitted coaxially through the objective lens for the observation/ measurement of the surface.
